Attention:
Club Presidents and Treasurers
I
am sure that by now you have heard of the NEW IRS FORM 990-N that ALL
Clubs must file prior to Nov 15, 2008. This form can be filed
electronically and is very easy to file. (Even I did it for the
B-P Club.) Go to www.irs.gov/eo
and click on “Charitable Orgs” or “Other Non-Profits”.
You will first have to register your Club and get a “Login In”
number and then you will get the form to complete and file. There
is also a website that takes you directly to the e-card for filing. Go
to www.epostcard.form990.org.
The
International Association of Lions will appear in the “name” section
of the form. On the second page of the form you will be asked for
the name, address, and principal officer of your Club.
